As I was driving home yesterday, I started thinking about those times when I’d have a song in my head and yet wouldn’t know all the lyrics. Don’t you hate it when that happens? You sing the one or two parts you know, and then you keep singing those parts back and forth while humming the parts in between. After a while, it drives you totally crazy and you realize you have to learn the rest of the lyrics.
So that’s when I have to finish whatever I’m doing, and then look up the lyrics and work on doing all of ’em for a while. It’s fun, but then I wonder if my time would be better spent on other things. Eventually, I come to a realization that if I do spend time on other things, I’ll only end up singing that song where, once again, I’ll find myself singing only the parts that I know. Thus, I continue learning the rest of the lyrics to prevent this from happening.
Day in the life. ‘Nuff said.

So anyway, after the first thing happens for a while, I start asking myself things like, “Why haven’t you learned the rest of those lyrics yet?” or, “Does that part come after or before the other part you know?” or especially, “Why don’t you just sing another song? Like… oh I don’t know, maybe a song you know all the lyrics to!”
Then I get the urge to sass my brain and I say, “You know what, brain? I’m tired of your shenanigans, so I’m going to keep singing those parts I know and let it drive ya totally bonkers!”
Then I start thinking about why people were too hard on Disney’s Bonkers. Sure, it was just there to be like a less crazy version of Roger Rabbit, but it was still kinda’ fun. I even named one of my cats Bonkers. It was that or Captain O.G Readmore, but Bonkers fits his personality a lot better.
Although when I think of it, Azrael also would’ve been a good fit for him. What’s that? Why yes! I did probably watch a little too much TV as a kid. I’m proud of the time I spent doing that, but don’t jump to conclusions. I did spend plenty of time doing other things like drawing, writing, playing with friends, or daydreaming about fighting that arch nemesis of mine.
And then I’d watch more TV when I’d finish. Don’t judge me.
Many times out of boredom, I’ll start doing random accents and voices. One that I’ve been working on is my impression of Michael Caine. I even did it once during a Twitch stream and someone said it was pretty good. I’m still playing around and finding ways to make it sound a bit closer, but it’s all in good fun.
There are definitely other impressions I need to continue working on. Like my Chris Walken voice. It kinda’ goes without saying, but If you love attempting celebrity voices, you know one of ’em needs to be Chris Walken. You can’t go through life without trying it at least once. That’d be like going through life without making finger gun gestures and shouting “Pew pew!”

One sound I always wanted to do was that water drop sound. I eventually learned how to do it thanks to a Youtube video. This one, to be exact. I feel like I should do it randomly just to confuse people next time I’m out shopping. And if I’m in a very moist location (sorry, I know some people don’t like the word moist, but… oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ), it’d especially confuse them and they’d start looking around for a leak. Then when they ask me if I’ve seen any leaks, I’d respond with a witty comment like, “Yeah, but I’m not sure if the Avengers 4 leak is from a legit source.”
Then I hope they make an expression like this.

This gif reminds me… I need to watch more Parks and Rec. Last thing I watched was an episode of Life’s Too Short on Amazon Prime. I love it because I love Warwick Davis. That guy’s awesome. Ever see him in the Leprechaun movies? Yes, those wacky “horror” movies that you can’t even call horror movies. They’re so silly, but they’re great. I need to watch all of ’em, I only saw the first two. I could swear I saw the third one, but maybe I’m thinking of another threequel.
You know what? I’m probably thinking of Carnosaur 3. Talk about something really ridiculous… just look at that or any of the other Carnosaur movies. If there was anything that was trying to cash in on the dinosaur popularity of the 90’s, look no further than the Carnosaur sequels. The first Carnosaur movie actually came out before Jurassic Park did. Not only that, but it was loosely based on a book written by author John Brosnan (although he released it under a pen name). And to add to the craziness, his book precedes Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park by six years. Weird huh?
In hindsight, though, I’m way more interested in Billy and the Cloneasaurus.
No seriously, there’s actually a book. There really is a book called Billy and the Cloneasaurus! Click here and check it out, it’s totally legit. I’m tempted to read it. For all I know, it could be better than Jurassic Park 3 and Carnosaur 3 combined. It may even be better than Theodore Rex.
Then again… anything is better than Theodore Rex. See ya next week! o/

Yeah… the 90’s were a weird time. 🙂
