Took longer than expected, but here it is! A short monologue that captures my thoughts on the idea of who you are, and what to ask.

Making sense of introspective thoughts is natural for me since I’ve done blog posts about it. But because there are so many of them, it was tricky to choose what to start with. Process-wise, it made sense to write them as a voiceover script, then film & edit footage that fits it. This feels like the right process to get started with, as it utilizes my best skills in writing and an editing style I’ve used for a couple specific Tiktoks I made.

I didn’t want to do one of those quick “Hi, here’s random stuff about me and what to expect” type of introductions where someone talks about plans on what they want to bring to life. Instead, I wanted to jump in and bring something to life.

I wanted to have a process rather than just set up a camera, talk into it the way vloggers do, and then do whatever minimal editing to refine the footage. I’ll do those kind of videos later in a different way. For this, I really wanted to follow my intuition. A lot of time went into figuring out how to simplify this, which was tricky ’cause I kept getting ideas for visual elements. But with this being my first Youtube video, I didn’t want to overcomplicate it. The whole process will evolve as I continue making these kind of videos and additional ones on my Youtube channel.

Think of this as a video version of my Introspective series of entries. In the meantime, head on over and subscribe! I’ll see y’all next time.
